Platinum SEO

When using platinum SEO are others taking advantage of the "index, nofollow" option for "PSP Meta Index and Nofollow Tags"??

This is meant to be used for hiding affiliate links from the search engines when you use them on said pages/posts while allowing them to index and crawl the content if I'm not mistaken?

Please chime in with first hand experience on this one, thanks!
