Plans after update?

Because of this horrendous update by Google, I am making a $1 a day and most articles are no longer ranking.

I'm waiting for the update to be over to readd articles/update them and see if it even makes a difference.

I also wanted to start a whole new site but because of all this and Google seems to favor big sites and social media, I'm demotivated on the idea.

Did you earn more than that before the update?

Not as much but around $7-10 sometimes alil higher.

The site was completely new etc.

I was happy with with that because in my currency it's not so bad but $1 a day and losing all my rankings is crazy

have to make the content quality to the best, link diversification and site updating to make it more user friendly. I hope only these will work out.
 
The spam update is over but core update is still ongoing. My posts are still not showing up where they used to be....

I'm still thinking to leave it until the March update is over before working on the site.

I also want to work on a new website but it's demotivating and competiton is quite high in most niches
 
Don't get demotivated, continue what you are doing, write more quality articles and publish it. Hopefully your site recovers once the update is over. You are not alone mate!
 
The thing is I'm thinking of waiting for the update to be over before rewriting and adding new content.

Serps are still shit now with this update so don't even know if google will make changes before the update is complete....otherwise we're screwed
 
It happens. Successful marketers lost many times before they achieve the high revenue. So dont give up.

Is the loss much, maybe you should rewrite your articles.
