Hi guys! Just had some questions concerning plagiarism in writing SEO articles, content articles, etc... Something that has really interested me as of late is this software such as SEnuke X and xhpdx's software which spins articles automatically... Is this considered plagiarism or what? Can people writing get "caught" doing this instead of hand writing the articles or something to that effect? What are the real consequences of it?
Spinning is nothing other than a software using a thesaurus to change up words to make each article unique to the point where google wont count it as duplicate content. If you write and original article(or get someone to do so) and spin it, there is nothing to worry about. If you copy a real article lets say on fox or cnn , spin it, and submit it, it can be considered plagiarism.
it is fairly easy for a human to tell it was spun because many words in the english language require VERY SPECIFIC context in order to be used, spinners generally just pick out a word from a thesaurus and replace an existing one. One the other note, it is hard for you to get caught using someone else's article with a spinner because the language and words in a spun article are more 60% different on most occasions.
Yeah its too easy in most of the cases. If you have been in the content writing field for some time now then you can smell plagiarism or spinning in an article at the first glance itself. So, its not a big deal but there are some software programs which guarantee maximum unique content but I still believe that hand written articles are the best.
Yep, hand written articles will offer you the best quality, though those services are borderline stealing, not sure on legal standpoint.
Google punishes sites very commonly with low quality content. Spinning allows for people to be able to setup massive amounts of sites to where the risk of even 50% of them being sandboxed by Google is an acceptable risk. However writing your own quality content certainly pays off if you are a decent writer. Which method you choose just depends on how lazy you choose to be.
Well here's a thought. Isn't it still incredibly beneficial because you can literally spin an article and edit it uniquely in a matter of minutes? Whereas for some people it would take up to an hour to write one 500 word article... one can get way more work done if the article is already written (spun) and all you have to do is edit it to make it unique/believable. It seems like this would only take a matter of minutes, allowing you to get a plethora of articles finished within that time-frame.
I beg to differ, as I believe that a unique article of 500 words would not take more than 30 minutes to write. The quality will be pinnacle level, so no doubt on this aspect. Now comes the point of spun content. Mate, I have had really bad experiences in the past when it comes to spun articles. I had a writer who used to frequently spin the articles and then send me. I used to spend a hell lot of time for editing them. One fine day a client of mine said that my articles were spun, it was then I realized that what it is and how fool I was. It does not makes sense to spin articles when there is need of Unique content. Moreover, when you are owning a website, then I sincerely recommend to go for unique content rather than plagiarized or spun content. PeErLeSs2aCmE
