Anyone know one that can be used for content? I know there's copyscape, but that's for websites (I tried to throw together a quick blogspot with it, but it didn't work..). I need to make sure there is no content containing the same sentences (or very similar sentences) anywhere on the net.

Any help is appreciated.

Try dupefreepro it is not being updated anymore but last time I checked if you put in a paragraph at a time and hit the online button it will give the results for google, the msn and yahoo results no longer work.

I just checked it does still work for google! It's free you just have to opt in for it, I don't get much email from them either.

You can try aafter.com plagiarism checker. This is an excellent tool for web masters, professors, teachers and project supervisors to check any written article that they check has similarity with any other pages on the internet. To use this feature, you have to type *** (3 stars) and then paste 'Your Document' in the search box. The search result shows the links to WebPages, if any, that contains similar text as that of the document. You can try it out. It?s free.

Thanks. This worked pretty well for my needs.
 
Copyscape works fine for me. Just create a quick website and run it through it. There's also the 'pro' version of Copyscape that lets you paste text directly into it, you can buy 200 credits for around $5 I believe.
 
Copyscape is a powerful tool to check plagiarism issue but it is paid service. If you are looking for free Plagiarism service then try Small SEO Tools Plagiarism checker to check plagiarism issues.
 
normally, i am using copyspace paid version to check duplicate content
