So for my website, I am writing biographies of famous people. Most of the stuff I am writing are known facts. So whenever I put my writings into plagiarism checkers, I get called out for only being 50% unique. None of the sentences are copied word for word, it's just similar small phrases that add up. Is this smth google would consider plagiarized work and penalize my site?

Which checker are you using and what is coming up? Is it something like birth places & events?

I am using EduBirdie and it's highlighting things like birth date/place, random short phrases such as "Jason had to", "through in his", and "football coach"

I'd recommend changing out some of those short phrases to "Jason LastName needed to/was required to". Something like that. I'm fairly certain there's a manual review process in regards to duplicate content near a certain percentage. I'm not 100% sure, but I figure that Google doesn't have their system auto-set to penalize based on content structure alone.

check grammarly and paste the article in copyscape.90% of article is passed in copyscape..try it

I use copyscape myself for stuff like this. It'll highlight areas of concern when comparing your document to others and show percentage "copied".

I will advise you use plagiarism check like gramarly and copyscape

Try to use copyscape. In my opinion if you can get 75% of uniqueness is ok.

Google is not as serious about plagiarism as other search engines, if you get a shadow ban, you can forget about the search positions of the site

Small seo tools plagiarism checker and grammarly. You can use synonyms for the words. Try to change the sentence.

I see people keep mentioning smallseotools. But in my experience that tool is shit. I used it sometime ago for some articles and it told me there was no plagiarism. But Google hit me with scraped content on adsense. When I checked my article with grammarly I saw it was plagiarised. So I would not advise smallseotools.

Smallseotools works great for me. It's a free and perfect tool to find plagiarism content.

You can check plagiarism on copyscape or samllseotools. Both are good tool for plagiarism checking.

Samllseotools it's recommended as best ranker for plagiarism checker, short phrases and other related terms.

Not sure if people are intentionally "plagiarising" the posts of previous users, or just trying to boost their post count.

But OP, have you heard about smallseotools for plagiarism checking or best plagiarism checker copyscape?

If you are writing mostly original articles, don't worry about plagiarism checker in my experience. Those tools are for when you are re-writing articles you copied from others.
