What would you folks suggest for plagiarism checker... either free or paid?
There is so many out there, not sure which one to choose from

You also Siteliner which is good, I particularly like its ability to crawl your entire site to check all of your content. I can't tell you if the full version is worth paying, I only tested the free version. On the other hand it does not seem to me that there is API to integrate to check from a software like for Copyscape for example.
I imagine it all depends on what you want to control, whether it's for your site, or what articles you want to submit.

Just go for copyscape, it is the industry leader.

I always use plagiarism checker free. I find it to be the best so far.

If you want free services then copyscape is a good option. They have free and paid premium services. Premium service includes unlimited scanning whereas the free version has some limitations but you can work around them easily. Turnitin is a also very good software for checking plagiarism but it is moslty used for academic and research articles.

Nothing beats ... surprise.... Google.

Google is the best plagiarism checker.

Forget every other options.
Use only Copyscape.
