Places Scout

Just wondering how one can use this to the maximum of its abilities.

I have a list of 200,000 USA locations + 3000 industries and want to perform a Keyword + Location search

eg [Doctor, Brooklyn,] [Lawyer, Manhattan]

I wan't to search and get 1000 results each time and save them to my database for me to contact later.

What kind of setup would I need ? Virtual Machine ? Proxies etc ?

What are you scraping? names? phone numbers?

There was a FREE yellow pages scraper in the downloads section, maybe that can be a start.

My question is how to use a desktop scraper to scrape google assuming i am scraping a significant amount of data

Issues i have faced in the past include
-PC performance slows down because the resources are maxed (eg ran outta ram - i have 8 gigs ram)

Just wondering what is the ideal setup to scrape a large amount of data from google
