95 % of youtube´s frontpage is full on botted videos. The prestige of YT has gone down hill already. Many users complaining on comments. You can see videos with 2.000.000 views and only 10 likes. Bloggers and webmasters are writting many articles about what is happening on YT these days.

The funny thing is YT are not deleting videos now. Are they trying to get personal details from botted video owners? THe best way for them to stop this is getting the community scared by taking legal actions against an individual person (if the can or if it is legally possible)

Bots are overabused already. Magic views is almost all the time "socket time out"

So as the title says, how long time left do we have to make money from bots?:D

Got my new accounts with new videos banned. Old accounts with old videos seem to be fine and I'm actually getting tons of traffic from them :)

I'd be interested in reading articles from well-known websites about this, any link?

the problem they have is if they patch them, the regular corporate users of mobile views will be also be blocked so they are in a catch 22 :)

They'd have to change the ways views are counted to get any sort of effect at all, and that is just like putting a bandage on a tumor.

There will be more publicly available scripts for increasing video likes and account creation for a more "natural" ratio (n0f0ll0w/d0f0ll0w backlink similarity).

Botters will tone down how many views they put in per run.

This will never end. Manipulation of statistics online can never end. It's like trying to make a perfectly secure system.

It will be fun to see how messed up things get, and when botters finally get frustrated, to what extent they will go to screw up things for everyone. Let's watch.

this does drop the prestige of youtube and screws up a lot of marketing companies. i work with some big brands doing legitimate views and they're starting to ask questions. This puts companies like tubemogul, share through, urullymedia, etc at risk. It's bad enough that yt doesn't count a lot of legitimate views, now these brands don't want to pay for mobile views. Mobile views are inadvertent part of campaigns. Going to be a huge drop in revenue.

Here we have some 12 year kid going overboard with 3 videos in top 5. They don't even have the audacity of deleting these videos, or at least demoting them from the top list.

Youtube is rewarding black hatters but slaps white hatters in the face.

I hope huffington post or someone with vast reach covers this and get's google's stock price to drop dramatically. Maybe that will get their attention.

    TOP TIP FOR BOTTERS!

Why don't you disable likes and comments?

I think this will last forever. It'll take YouTube ages to make a secure system that blocks botted views.

But recently I have checked on my iPad and ads do infact work on the desktop website in Safari. (HTML5)

So in theory bots could make money for you!

My YouTube channel is my name: StuffAllTech - I'm partnered too.

this is Google guys.... they are going to solve it... kill the issue... end of story

Some guy is going to be sitting inside his Bannana shaped office and get bonus of the year for fixing this LOL

I think they already knew this was going on and they have plans to limit which users can get on front page. They will have editors approve who makes front page in future i'd bet.

Any links or hints at links to back up the claims that the whole world is talking about it?

I don't overuse MagicViews, but we'll need to be quick :D

I think taking legal action is a bit far though to be honest. I imagine they may in some extreme cases though. I'm not botting to the extreme by half a million views an hour, but I'm getting enough to get them ranked for their keywords.

All good things must come to an end! 99% percent of the time greed is the reason why.

Yes, people are botting the views for greed for fame/money. I don't see the point of people who bot millions of views, they just get banned...

Stuff like this should be used with brain..... i don't get people creating nonsense videos and putting views on them...you get disslikes and still youtube might get it off or something..... If i was going to put million views on a video , i would make damn sure that its worth putting the views there.
