When someone clicks on a image and it redirects them to the image direct link. Then show a advertisement on that link.
Im not sure if im making myself clear here.

What do you mean? Will it be separated from the adsense placement? If yes then that should not be an issue.

how is that related to adsense? or click should count as click on adsense banner?
click on image = adsense banner click, it is possible, but you won't get paid as your account will be closed for breaking rules
if you looking for in-image ads - that's a different story and there're networks that show banners on the image
