Place Ads on Ebay - not product listings

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to place ads on Ebay?

I'm not referring to placing a product listing or classified Ad.


I mean the ads that pop up (for Geico, and others) when you make a search. These are often in the sidebar or at the top of the screen.

Also - is there anyway to put an affiliate link in these ads?



I checked all over Ebay and couldn't find anything about buying ad space (without making a listing).

Any help much appreciated!

i thought most of those ads were google ppc

Google PPC and if you advertise your booth on Bonanza, it will show up too. Rates on Bonanza for this service are crazy high. However, you can set an option to pre-approve buyers. When the buyers message comes through that they want to buy, tell them you will approve it and send them a direct link to your listing on there. You'll save crazy $$ in fees (up to 45% the value of your listing, before shipping).
