Hi guys, I'm running Facebook ads and using PayPal as my payment processor. However, since it kicks out people from my website and they might not land on my 'thank you page', the pixel won't mark them as purchases.

I'm missing lots of pixel counts and I'm afraid it harms my campaigns. Is there anything to do?

Create a redirect in your paypal to back to website which will trigger the event, or redirect to another page as thank you page and tag it as last page of funnel i.e.purchased event trigger there/

Place conversion pixel on the 'Thank you' page:

You can use PayHip (or any other tool) and connect your pixel with the tool, this will surely track all purchases.

PayPal also has an option of the same page checkout, without redirection.

Thanks guys! It's just that some people close the page right after they pay, therefore not waiting for the redirect. Anyway to solve that?

Yes, Payhip or similar service have the option to have FB pixel in them, this means that users don't have to be redirected back to the site to track a sale.

In case the user closes the page before being redirected to the 'Thank You' page, the conversion is tracked on the Payhip checkout level and this data will be recorded on Facebook.

However, if the user closes window before landing 'Thank you' page after checkout at Payhip it won't track conversion goal (if you have it set) in your Google Analytics.

I see Payhip is for digital downloads, but I have shipping and so. You also said PayPal has an option to make payment on my website page without leaving my website, how can I do this?

Express checkout would be the best in your case, check the link above from the @bandititf9.
There are, probably, similar tools to Payhip for physical items, I just mostly work 'digital' products.
