Pissed! Getting Screwed by Competitors - Another Channel Suspended

So I got another channel suspended because a competitor or someone bot flagged my channel.

I admit, most of my videos are copyrighted content but I edit it and do little mash ups of stuff. But it pisses me off when someone downloads my stuff and uploads it and on that same day, my channel is suspended.

Most here say that we should beat our competitors by making better content or out ranking them on YouTube. However, what good does that do if they just bot spam your channel.

So my question is, how do I fight fire with fire? Can anyone share the method or know of a solution to my (and probably many others) problem here. To be honest, I would rather not resort to cheap tactics like this but a person needs to own a gun to protect yourself from other bad gun carrying citizens if you know what I mean.

Im quite interested in this as well... Im fairly new to Youtube channels and how to monetize them but have found a great niche and interested in what anyone has to say
 
I know it's hard, but do you have any idea as to who this particular "competitor" is?

There certainly would be that one person who have up to 4 channels in that niche, who wants everything.

*My videos were not spam. Also, I did not have repetitive videos and didn't have video links outside of YouTube to sell stuff on this account.
 
Some niches just aren't worth it unless you can create channels and uploads vids non stop. That means automation and forking out for servers.
Try a different niche where there aren't so many kids or clowns.
Unless you can be sure of who is doing it then fighting fire with fire is probably going to be a waste of time and money.
 
The solution is simple. Don't use copyright material and you won't have any problems. Even if your competitors will flag your videos, your account won't be suspended.
 
Does your channel / videos look spammy? Try to mimic this guy style and you shouldn't have any problems. If your stuff look spammy then it's really hard to convince anyone how legit you're & youtube will keep shutting down your channel, it's impossible to appeal without a nice history as well.

I counter everyone by making my own content, having a nice history and etc. One time my channel did get shut down out of no where, but I brought it back up within 12 hours. This was years ago & ever since then people can't burn me anymore. Like I said, try to minic people like Tim Schmoyer or those make up channels or whatever.

Everyone, thanks for some of your responses but if you don't have any useful or meaningful info to protect from mass flagging (besides the obvious route of going completely whitehat in which I would have gone to whitehatworld dot com), please don't respond and/or try to lecture me.

It's impossible and your competitor will also get burn sooner or later.

Nobody is trying to lecture you but it is part of the game, you either change niche or get better at spamming videos.
If you use copyrighted material and somebody flags you, then you go down.
It isn't anything new, upload more videos to numerous channels and hope for the best, spray and pray.

It is part of the game...I understand. I remember someone wrote on a forum that stopping others hustle is part of the hustle. I never really agreed with that statement but I know there are others that do.

I am just tired of reading snarky comments like "oh, you should have upload your own content and go whitehat" as if they just gave them a solution that they would have never thought of in their life.......in a blackhat forum.

I will have to be more creative, that's for sure. But I will continue search for ways to mass flag my competitors as a preventative measure. It's not hard to find the guy who did it (in my case). They uploaded my videos with my channel name and watermark.

Yeah, if somebody brazenly stole my stuff after flagging me, then I would probably feel the same. There are flagging bots out there, you just have to decide whether it is worthwhile spending energy and resources on some douche, when you could be building more channels.

I've been through this 3-4x in the past 4 years. Its always the same approach as you mentioned. Someone from Russia/Ukraine "flags" the video with their content and asks you for a retarded amount to release the claim.

The last time this happened, I did the math and I figured out that rather than waiting for the YT fair-use counter-notification to go through ( 3-4 weeks) it would be cheaper, based on my revenue, to offer the clowns a few hundred bucks to release the claim early.

They didnt and my correspondence to them highlighted the stupidity of their actions.

Still, a good gig to try though if you wanted to make some $$$. "Claim" videos and get a small amount back from releasing early.
