I usually go no more than 100 a day; and no - it doesn't seem to work like it does on Twitter/Tumblr.

I haven't made any money from Pinterest at all..It's kind of a lost cause.I even have some big boards that I got invited to with 10,000 - 55,000 followers and posted niche related stuff to those big boards and just got clicks,that's it.Put your time else where.

I've 100 daily unique visitors from Pinterest with account created 6 Days ago! In 6 Days I gained 350 Followers (by following 1600). I've posted 98 Posts for a total of 250 Visitors from Pinterest. Noiw I'm looking to undestand how works Pinterest's Tag system. For me is the key of popularity on this social network.
1,000 isn't easy, but very possible. I just started ramping up my pinterest efforts, and with 2 accounts I hit over 300 uniques/day. Let's see what happens in 2 weeks when I gain more followers, use more accounts, and start posting on boards where I have over 50,000 followers.

I get over 50k unique visits a day from Pinterest, so when I say that it's possible to bank, it absolutely is.
What you need to do is work on building your accounts. They need to have lots of real followers, which you get in bulk from board invites. If you stick to the basic "what goes around comes around" mentality, adding people to your boards usually gets an add back, but the easiest method of getting an invite is simply asking for one.
Once you find yourself with around 10k real followers and over 200 boards, you'll start to see the real traffic come in.

This is just plain wrong. Half of them are not bots, while many may be. But half is very high estimating. If half were bots I would not be making money from Pinterest every day for the past year. The real users also don't only do window shopping. They WILL buy, but it needs to be presented well. Sending them straight to an ad is a no-no. Sending them to an irrelevant page is a no-no. Sending them to the page the image came from is a good start, next you want to present possible options to buy, not a hard sell. Hard selling really doesn't work in this market. It has to all be optional.
That is why you fail.
Giving up is not how you'll succeed at anything in IM.
Sounds like an interesting niche. Would be good for this Halloween holiday too. If you had a big boost in Pinterest traffic, you may see some sales. Let me know if you want help with that, I do offer Pinterest traffic packages.
