pinterest traffic seems hard to convert, for me at least. i set up a simple landing page on blogger for a targeted cpa offer and that didn't do well. then, i set up another blogspot with adsense and i am not getting ad clicks, not even a 1% ctr. traffic is not a problem for me, the problem for me is monetizing this damn traffic. i know that pinterest is mostly female so all of my campaigns are optimized for female traffic, that is also not an issue. my domain is even targeted towards girls. i don't understand what the problem is, but it does seem like this traffic is a bit more intelligent then other sources which is definitely not a good thing. what is your experience with pinterest traffic? :)

maybe mask the traffic and send them directly to your cpa or an offer

i've also heard you have to have pretty unique quirky offers/products to get conversions

I'm getting conversions but the amount of traffic I'm getting (one white hat account) is not getting enough traffic (less than 20 unique visitors a day with a few pins).

How much daily traffic are you getting.

yea, i might try to direct link to a cpa offer now. i might as well try it. and yea, it definitely does seem that clever offers are one of the only ways to cash in on this type of traffic because they dont seem as stupid as people on twitter or facebook etc.

i am currently getting around 500 pageviews per day and it is only going to go up everyday, i will soon be at 1,000 etc.

you are doing CPA?

I'm getting about 1000 visitors a day from Pinterest, and it converts better than Twitter/Facebook/Google/Tumblr.

It is important to note that my "money site" is 100% white hat retail, not a middleman CPA offer.

interesting. i have also heard some success from other people selling products to pinterest traffic. you are selling your own products?

Pinterest traffic is performing quite interestingly to be honest.

Not so much on the email submits, but what's working is weight loss and occasionally some dating offers.

Very nice traffic. I'm not doing CPA as I put my own twist on this method. You using bot traffic and multiple accounts?

Bet you didn't check your 'household income' demographic did you? Yes the traffic is largely female but not dumb females and certainly not broke! - With average incomes in the high 5 figures and up, I suggest you find a high end offer that appeals to high end taste. These ladies are not likely to be looking for bargains. They are looking for whats' unique, hip, hot and trendy.

As a chick who uses Pinterest for the actual proper use of it, I would definitely agree that you want to offer something hip and unique. I can't imagine dating offers would do any good. The most stuff I see trending in my account, is hipster clothing, and unique food recipes. Now just find a CPA for that stuff. (Side Note: I've actually bought clothing items I've seen people repin from sites. Look in to webmaster programs for stuff like that)

i am only using about 5 accounts right now because i want to keep building them and have them for a long time. i do market on pinterest with a bot, manually is too time consuming

hmmmm, sounds good. its nice to hear from someone who actually uses the site for its purpose :) thank you!

I like to know if anyone has seen an increase in income since on Pinterest.

You can directed the traffic toward CPA by doing some type of work that is masking the traffic and directed towards the cpa as it is said above by someone.

a little bit offtopic but this article is really interesting ;)
