This isn't to do with the holidays it's to do with the new way Pinterest is displaying the homefeed. Unless they revert back which I doubt they will it is going to stay like this.
If you're doing PPC then you may see a spike in CPC or low volume. Big brands are unleashing their budget since it's end of quarter aka Q4.

guys dont be like that come on , how can you make money on pinterest if you don't have any idea of pinterest's demographics . that's just sad , we all know all USA mommas are on pinterest and guess what they are doing lately ? you really think they have time to browse the internet these days ?

My site has gone from 250-300/month to over 1000 this month.. those mommies are hitting the stores hard right now.

That it is the inivitable result for the tens of threads encouraging blackaters to massively go on pinterest botting.
BHW HAS an audience of hundreds of thousands of potential spammers who are all willing to do anything to win a few euros, specially the countries like india where 28 PER CENT of bhw traffic come from.
After youtube fucked spammer Some months ago with drastic measures, google with updates to gget ride of spammers, facebook That close Any Opportunity for Marketers, twitter That limited Drastically Any mass Following option , thousends of blackhatters were turning to pinterest the same time, the results is that pinterest will shut the door gradually to any free marketing option.
the winners still the bhw sellers that make thousands sss to direct neubies where they lose thirs time and money

Maybe the keywords you are using is "spamming" "black hat" etc. My site is white hat, grey at worst because I use bots to follow/unfollow, I have seen no impact on my traffic. IMO If you're using 10,000 accounts to spam your site all day long and that's the only way you get traffic, your site isn't strong enough to stand on its own.
If the "work" you're talking about is your blogspot that you get traffic to by scraping other peoples images or repinning and changing links to your site, than it should be no surprise that this business model didn't pan out long term.

Hey just a quick question. Would any 1 be so free to pass me a username from a working account? I would love to see what a good account looks like? With a good account i mean a account that is used for good traffic. I am trying to set up some accounts myself but i sometimes just go into the deep without my flashlight..

Even though i am pretty new to Pinterest, the reason i try Pinterest now is because Pinterest is just really easy to use in terms of botting and posting links etc.
I think that is the biggest reason for me. Plus you can just target out niches you want to be seen in.

My traffic is back today. Traffic and followers just jumped to my 4 months high
Anyone saw change?
Until now traffic is still growing, I get more traffic compared to yesterday.
I don't know what other guys do with the following stuff, but I personally follow my main accounts followers. I make sure the follower which I target is in the same niche as me. Example: If my niche is "Recipes" then I follow one of my followers in the same niche "Recipes".
Also make sure to follow real Pinterest accounts, there are accounts which belong to webmasters like us, most of them have facebook and twitter linked, but when you click on the Facebook icon on his Pinterest account you get directed to Facebook. If I see the Facebook account not available, (Error) or it doesn't exist I don't follow that user in Pinterest.
