Intrigued as to whether there is value in Pinterest aside from the endless posts?
Curious as the best practices from others?

the key is consistency. Pinterest recommends creating fresh original pins regularly rather then relying on one viral post.

Consistently creating new pins will drive in serious traffic especially when your targeting niches that deal with a lot of visuals.

Of course there is!
The platform is actively transforming into a marketplace. Many pins are product cards with current prices and direct links to stores.

Absolutely. pinterest is underrated because content can keep driving clicks for months, not hours. The key seems to be searchable pins, strong visuals and consistency rather than just posting endlessly. Definitely more of a long term traffic play.

Pinterest performs optimally when you think of it as a search engine rather than just another social network. Effective keyword targetng coupled with quality pins can keep bringing you clicks even after postig.

Pinterest can be useful for evergreen traffic, especially with visual niches where people actively search for ideas. Good images and useful titles seem more important than simply posting frequently.
Yes, exactly. IMHO, the evergreen side is the reason why Pinterest is fascinating because one good pin can continuously bring traffic after several months.

pinterest treats a pin as fresh every time u change the title or image. so u can repin the same link 20 diff ways and each gets its own shot in search. thats the real volume hack, not making 20 pages

yesh i believe that there is still value in pinterest particularly if u have an industry where the visual element is important nd there is some helpful information being linked. for me the impportant thing here would be to focus on making pinterest more of a search engine rather than a social media site.

There is still value in it, especially because the user is looking for something specific already like vacations or a home remodel. Pins hang around for weeks too

Yeah, it's actually worth it. Most people treat Pinterest like social media, but it's closer to a visual search engine. A good Pin can keep bringing traffic for months instead of dying after a day.

You need to post consistently and funnel the traffic to your website or blog and convert it there either through affiliate marketing, selling you own products or ads.

Pinterest can still be valuable especially for visual niches where users actively search for ideas and products focus on useful keyword focused pins and consistent testing rather than chasing volume alone.

Pinterest traffic can be very valuable if you create content that fits the platform and its audience. Pinterest is still one of the platforms that generates a good amount of income for me through affiliate marketing.

everyone keeps saying consistency but honestly pinterest is just a visual search engine. treat it like seo. if you optimize board titles and pin descriptions with actual search volume keywords you can get passive traffic for months from old pins. also if you plan on redirecting to affiliate offers use a bridge page... direct linking gets your domain flagged pretty fast these days.

Pinterest recommends creating fresh, unique posts regularly rather than relying solely on a single viral hit. Effective keyword targeting combined with high-quality posts can help you continue generating clicks long after the content is published.

imo pinterest is more like a visual search engine rather than a regular social networking website. u do not have to constantly upload things on the website when u have information to offer people who are searching for something. a few good pins that lead to rellevant pages can work wonders for you.
