Hey folks,


I keep hearing mixed opinions about Pinterest as a traffic source for affiliate marketing. Some say it still works great, others say engagement has dropped.


Is anyone actively using Pinterest in 2025? Would love to hear your honest feedback and whether it's still worth investing time into.

Been seeing some youtubers say their offer do great on pinterest. I want to use it for something else and was wondering if it is still a good choice. I'm still going to test it out for atleast a month tho.
 
It appears to be fairly dependent on the specific niche on Pinterest. From observing users, they have quite specific intentions when using Pinterest vs. randomly scrolling FB, Twitter, IG, etc.

Possibly great for stuff like design items (deco, etc.), perfume, clothing, but for other not so much. (Purely based on experience).
 
You don’t need a large follower base in Pinterest, just optimized pins using relevant keywords can rank in Pinterest search and even on Google
 
Engagement has dropped and it depends on your niche now to get results with a lot of testing.

Really appreciate you all sharing your experiences — very helpful to see how much niche selection and keyword targeting play a role with Pinterest nowadays. Looks like it's still possible to get results, but with a lot more testing and optimization involved.

I'll definitely keep these points in mind as I experiment further.

This is a great question, I've also heard varying reports about Pinterest's effectiveness lately. It really depends on the niche and content strategy, but I'd say it's still got potential, especially for visual niches. Looking forward to seeing what others have experienced!

I tried Pinterest it didn't work for me.
