Hello there,

I have an old Pinterest account that used to send me a good volume of traffic to my website, but since 1 year ago the traffic started decreasing and now I'm getting only a few visitors...

Even if I kept sharing new content on my account at that time, my pins are not getting the same reach that used to get before, so I stopped sharing any new content on it since then.

I heard that the algorithm changed but I can see some of my competitors still have a high amount of views on their accounts and I don't think this is because of the niche.

I started looking more into that matter and want to see if I can still get again a good amount of traffic from Pinterest.

Any recommendation regarding this, please?

Yes algorithm definitely changed and some Pinterest users get 0 views.

Hi, I’m also in this business. I have 160k Followers and I had 3k visitors per day. Something changed in December and I lost positions and 60-70% traffic dropped.

May I ask you in which niche you are ?

Same here, but I saw a drop in the viewers only at the beginning of April and I thought in that moment that it is because of a few pins containing some women in swim suits... I have not expected to appear a change in their algorithm. from 15k visitors, I have only 3k at the moment.

There could be several reasons for a drop in Pinterest traffic. Some possible reasons could be changes in the Pinterest algorithm, increased competition, a decrease in user engagement, or a shift in user behavior. It's important to analyze the specific factors that may be contributing to the drop in traffic and develop a strategy to address them. This may involve adjusting your content strategy, optimizing your pins for maximum visibility, and engaging with your audience to build loyalty and trust. With the right approach, it is possible to overcome a drop in Pinterest traffic and continue to grow your presence on the platform.
