Let's discuss here our Pinterest tactics about pining/repinning/following/liking/commenting.
I used to post 1 pin every 15 minutes from my websites. 1 random image from one of my websites random selected,in group boards in specific niches.
My traffic was not huge but my earnings were great. 70/day on average with adsense.
Lately Pinterest is banning my accounts very often. Maybe because every time i pin I have to login. I don't know why yet.
Which tactic you think is the most safe for pinning?

pinning every 15 minutes sounds perfectly fine to me.
that is very slow in my opinion.
did you pin negative content? maybe that's why you got banned.
 
in some accounts the pins were very few and not available for followers directly in their feed because accounts were new.
i suspect that login very often cause me this.
i am programming my bot now to store cookies so i have not to login often.
100 pins/day for every account is safe?
and following 200 to 300 people at once can get my account flagged?
 
I only have one account with 3k followers but I am in about 6 boards with at least 15k each, I pin 3 images from my site whenever I visit pinterest. My earnings are little because I am only getting about 200 page views from pinterest per day, I earn on a average of 2 dollars from about 10 clicks. Very low and not too motivating.

try fix your ctr on your website and your earnings will increase for sure.

Which sectors work well on pintarest. Does finance work or is mainly retail sector?
 
1) Pinning / repin other people's images give credibility to your account. My ratio is 1 (mine) to 5 (others).

2) Minimize pinning 1 to many.

3) Avoid redirects.

4) Be extra careful when pinning to groupboards.

I've had 2 accounts suspended and both reinstated because they were reported by other users for spamming. Customer support manually reviews your profile for reinstatement. I suspect that because of the above, I passed their test. Bottom line: Since you can't control other users from reporting you, you can control your profile looking legit to pass CS's manual review.

It is actually very bad, my CTR 7.17% which is very good considering the traffic but the issue is that my CPC is low, which is why I get little money.

Could you clarify of it's uses, I have been meaning to automate my pins and whatnot with PHP as well.
 
Welll you set the websites you want to fetch posts by rss or you add images,message and link manually, you set the accounts and the boards for each account and it pins on auto on a time interval you want. Cycling boards,websites and selects images on random. I added proxy support too.

That's a nice feature, any chance you'd share with me? If not then it's no biggie, In any case I'll probably code a bot for it as well as it would be extremely helpful and time saving.

100 pins per day TOTAL should be safe.
but i recommend 50 per day, don't get greedy.
passive traffic is the name of the game.
 
hello i fairly new to pinterest and don't really know how to get around it. how do you build so much followers? and also what are those board and how to join them?

The only things you can do on Pinterest are pin / repin / follow / comment. Do those consistently from a nice looking profile and you'll gain your own set of followers. Make and grow your own groupboards and invite like-minded members. Don't spam.

A typical groupboard has instructions on how to join. Just follow those instructions. In absence of any instructions, look for the latest pin by the group board owner and send a comment using @boardownerusername requesting for an invite.
