Pinterest "Spammer" Says It Was Fake

For everyone that read the article that was posted yesterday from dailydot:

He now admits it was all fake and claims he never meant for it to get this big:

Not only do they mention BHW in the first article but they now go as deep as to mentioning meathead's post in the second article. Obviously we have eyes on us, but this website is bringing a lot of unwanted attention against black hat world. Also if you look at gimme4free's bot collection, tons of people with 0 posts are coming over wanting to buy the bot.

Just thought I would give everyone a heads up on whats going on.

1. You can't defame what's already black.

2. If you worry about the bot sellers marketing technique - I would say if bots really work, he can sell naming them mangoes or Oranges or whatever.

The dailydot dropped 'his' amazon affiliate id in there.. wonder how much traffic they get. This is all over the web though, the verge, msn, mashable, yahoo
 
The truth is that if that was real, none of us would have known he was making that much money. Especially given that Pinterest is very young, and the story is published while bots are appearing... common, nobody would have killed it's own cash cow
 
I dabbled in Pinterest for a couple of weeks, it wasn't for me. if this was gimmie4free's work, I personally would think he is a TOTAL GENIUS! :) I can only imagine how fat his paypal is right now! :p I don't really care if pinterest gets spammed to death anyway.
 
Ya gimmes paypal account is probably definitely
fat but his bot is awesome works perfect and he did a great job.
 
With all the money he gets now he should buy a real Photoshop software. Atleast when the next time he tries to fools everyone the images will look Real :D :D :D
 
What bothers me the most is that that site dailydot~ generalizes BHW as a bowl full of spammers.

Once something is on the internet you cant stop it, unles you are Alyssa Milano's mother.
 
That's racism....lol Just because we scale things up and we have a black theme doesn't mean we are spammer!!!

Dude don't worry about it. It's not like we're discussing illegal things here like how to rob a bank or stuff like that.
At least for me this forum is mostly about thinking out of the box, sharing interesting new approaches with others and basically just doing things different than how most of the marketers/entrepreneurs are doing it. A little bit of publicity won't hurt that.

I couldn't care less about the fact that everyone out there calls this forum a place full of spammers. It just shows that the majority of people don't understand what this website is really about.
