I think there is no limit for a day but total limit is 200000 each board. If you are going to pin you can add you website with pins. It would be better for your traffic.

Each account can only pinning 100 pins per domain name everyday

Good advice, at the minimum 25 pins, repins, comments, and follows. So 25 of each one and remember to add your website URL in 25-30% of your pins. Good luck!

If you have a business account, you'll be able to track your pins performance and decide how things are working for you. So categorized them, i.e. groupboards vs. non-group, your domain vs. others, manual vs scheduled, etc.
When it comes to pins/day, you don't want to go overboard. It's annoying to get banned and not knowing whether or not you'll get reinstated weeks/months down the road. So it's better to save 0-5 pins / board / day to err on the side of caution. Meaning, it's good to have multiple boards of relatively same niche and many different pins to work with if you want to pin a lot/day.
