For those monetizing Pinterest traffic, what method has been the most reliable for you recently?


I’ve seen people mention affiliate links, blogging traffic, and eCommerce stores, but I’m wondering which one is actually working consistently in 2026.


Are you focusing more on viral pins or building long-term evergreen traffic?

I’d say the most stable approach right now isn’t pure affiliate links, but more like Pinterest → landing page/blog → monetization. Viral pins can give you a boost, but they fade fast, while evergreen content brings more consistent traffic over time.
I’ve tested different setups, and what worked best for me was not relying only on affiliate offers, but also adding native ads (like MGID). That way you’re not dependent on a single income stream

just curious, is it more mobile or web traffic? and if both what is percentage of mobile from it?

Display ads has been it for me. It's easy for me to set up and RPM is not too bad. With certain niches, it might be a bit more profitable to go affiliate than display ads.

The fastest and most profitable monetization would be to put affiliate links to your pins. After that diverting traffic to your blog and moneziting comes second in terms of how much money you're making.

Am I right in thinking Pinterest + a 3D printer would be a Godly combo if you done your own product manufacturing? I've finally got the dosh to dump into setting up Pinterest properly; I'm getting excited

Have been doing cool stuff with the 3D printing too

Do you ship your products or plan to work only in your location? And what results have you gotten from Pinterest placements?
 
affiliate + blog combo working best right now, viral pins good for reach but evergreen seo pins bring long term money.
