Hi guys,

Whenever I embed a link to a image, the link always shows under the thumbnail on Pinterest. That makes my boards and pins look spammy. I see a lot images on Pinterest not showing links under the thumbnails, when you click the thumbnail it will take you to a blown-up image. Then you click the blown-up image, it will take you to their website or affiliate site. I wonder how I can do that myself?

Select "Edit" on the image (Like you are going to edit the description/comment). You will be taken to a page where you can edit the title, "Link" and description. Add your website to the link and it will then create an image hyperlink.

If uploading a pin this has to be done after the image is saved.

Fashionable,

Thanks for the info. I know how to do that, but every time I do it the way you said the link will appear under the thumbnail. Say I want the image hyperlink point to mydomain.com, so I embed the link to the image. But "mydomain.com" will appear under the thumbnail on my board, I don't want that to happen. I only want to make the blown-up image a hyperlink which points to mydomain.com while at the same time "mydomain.com" not showing under the thumbnail on my board. I see a lot people doing that on Pinterest but don't know how. Can somebody help please.

Your request is stupid. Its not spammy if it shows the link. That's how it is.
