Pinterest limits follow?

Hey guys. i was wondering about Pinterest's follow limit. Yesterday I got a message that said I couldn't follow any more people but today I can follow more people. Will they close my account if I receive this message too often? Does the amount of people that follow me have any impact on how many people I can follow just like how Twitter works or got something else?

Some limits are available for pins, boards and follows. 2000 boards including secret pins, 200000 pins, 50000 followers. you can follow only 50000 but there is no limits for how many people can follow you. 10 to 50 followers is safe and more than 300 follow per day is considered as spammers.

that 50000 following is for whole time or per day?

50000 followers is for whole time. If you get more than 300 followers per day, it considers as spammers

I started receiving the same message when I did some mass following. Even when I followed like 5 people at a time. Apparently when you do you the exact same thing the algorithm recognises it.

I started doing this:

1. Go on a competitor's page.
2. Find a relevant pin to save on one of my boards
3. Follow 1-3 of their followers
4. Save another one of their pins
5. Follow 1-3 of their followers
6. Save another pin
And do this until I've followed like 5-9 of their followers.
Then repeat this after at least 30 mins. Also make sure to click on one of the pins, briefly read their article and then make a comment that's about 100 characters
I thought it would be a good idea because it kind of replicates actual activity of users.

I'm also new to pinterest so I don't know if this is the best advice but I know I haven't seen that message after I started doing it

Apparently Pinterest limited following per day recently to something like maximum 50 per day...
