i am looking to partner with someone who can convert pinterest traffic. i have been getting about 500 - 700 pageviews per day lately on my blogs landing page but my conversions are terrible, and my traffic is only going to increase everyday. it would be great if you have pinterest viral scripts also but its not necessary. i provide the traffic and you provide the method. 50/50 deal. PM me if interested. thank you :)

It would help to know what niche your site is in.

Have you tried posting amazon links and see if they get the same traffic as you are getting with your pins now.

forget direct pinning product pictures from amazon on pinterest. i have tested and its a no goer, even when promoting stuff women are interested in. plus pinterest are getting savvy to this and i am sure they will be issuing some account bans soon.

I have exposed this method several times on this forum and is one people should definitely explore.

    Create a recipe blog!

Source some recipes from cooking websites across the internet. preferably ones with appetizing looking images (for pinterest purposes). post the images and recipes to your cooking blog, monetize with CPA, Adsense, Amazon products such as cookbooks, food mixers etc.

Then create a board on Pinterest give it a catchy cooking title, and for the first week or so just spend some time repinning other pinterest users food images to build up a following for your board.

Once you have got a good following of your board (say above 1000 users) start pinning the appetizing pictures from your cooking blog onto your board on pinterest include a witty description for the pic. another tip is also to include your blog url in the description.

This is will drive clickthroughs to your blog and hopefully adsense clicks and product sales will follow.

interesting method. it seems like blasting pinterest with affiliate links is not too successful because users are too smart there, but building a legit following for a real niche looks like the way to go :) i might try it. thank you!

recipe things would work awesome. My girlfriend uses the site now, and she pins 2 things, cats and food! and she regularly visits the food websites, and looks around them..

Basically, a website that is geared towards women, which looks girly, has a purpose and very good quality content will convert.

Great idea Jack, You really have to cater for their interests, and I think using CPA offers is the worst thing you could do for pinterest traffic, look at the demographics, the users aren't your average teenage social network users, they're intelligent and well off.

What I think would be very successful is creating a marketplace similar to mylikes and the other pay-to-tweet sites.
All you guys are amassing huge follower lists with good interaction and traffic, the problem is you don't have access to the right products to market to them, apart from generic adsense clickers.
However, a pinterest user with a huge follower list in a specific niche would be very valuable to a suitable business owners, high-end boutiques, spas etc would pay well for the traffic that pinterest brings.

I reckon anyone who developed such a platform for selling pins would do very well out of it, if only I followed through with my ideas eh..

I agree CPA offers may be shite for this sort of thing.

Interesting concept on leveraging the traffic created from Pinterest to promote niche businesses products for a price.

cpa offers are shit for this traffic. i have a total of 5 conversions from thousands of landing page visits. pinterest traffic is unfortunately not stupid
