Pinterest just suspended my account?

Hi, I made this account 3 days ago using a brand new email and never even pinned anything and nor did followed anyone. Now, I was logged in and was browsing and just saw that my account was suspended. The email said they blocks any account with over pinning and over follow something but I have not pinned or followed anyone.

What could be the reason?

Maybe it was because I had my main account opened in another browser?

Anyone experienced such thing?

Do you have any other Pinterest accounts?

Could be because you left a footprint while creating that account, like IP address, cookies, etc.

I was logged into my other account but in a different browser. Even I was operating on this new account by keeping the other account open in another browser.
 
I've had an account on pinterest for over a year. When I first created it I made a few pins/repins etc. Then I went away for about a year and a few weeks ago I logged on to spy on some competition and the account got locked. This was my only account and I never spammed nor did I do anything against their TOS. Looks like they ban anything they "think" looks suspicious.

This is the email I got:

We wanted to let you know we suspended your Pinterest account because of some activity we believe goes against our spam policies.

On Pinterest, spam includes saving lots of unwanted or repetitive stuff, trying to game our systems, or posting fraudulent, deceptive or unsolicited commercial messages. We block spam like this because it creates a bad experience for other people on Pinterest.

If you think we made a mistake, please click this link, and we will review your account within 48 hours.

I was thinking about going back to pinterest since it has really good traffic but if they're banning aged accounts created on residential IPs then I'm sure they ban accounts on DC proxies a lot quicker lol

I have a few accounts but all were/are used for personal use. I haven't encountered any issues.
Did you bot/spam on other accounts before on your PC? They could have a footprint and blocked you for that reason

I have never used bots for anything in my life and nor even I used any kind of vpn.

The thing that I did when creating this account and using this account was that my main account was open in another browser. I was operating both the accounts simultaneously. Maybe that's the reason?
 
just logged in now and discover mine is gone as well....:weep::weep::weep::weep::weep::weep:
 
I've had the same issue as well. On an account that had not pinned anything yet. All my others that are pinning, are OK.
