Pinterest Journey

Pinterest is new to me other than being on the site once or twice but never done anything involving it. I have decided im going to see what i can do within a month in terms
of growing an account and building up an audience which i can eventually monetize. There is NO reason for doing this other than i have spare time, no point in sitting here doing
nothing so ill put that time into something that could potential gain me some sort of income in the future but for now ill just work on my following. Few people might be interested
in following this but i know a lot won't, threads are a great way to keep you're motivation up which is why i have made one.

Being a sharing man if i do come across methods that can help others in the BHW community ill be sure to let you all know! I have no invested anything to this and don't plan
unless it will make my life a lot easier, right now its all done by my own hand. Yes it is time consuming but time is what i have plenty of, few hours daily is enough.


Day 1
-Made a Fresh Account
-Followed 100 People who have AT LEAST 150 Followers and are following a minimum of 200 People (This generally means they are willing to follow others so you can almost guarantee they will follow you back)
-Looked for popular topics and have then created a board for each niche
-Pinned at least 120 Images to Each board (Currently have 6 Boards and a total of 720 Images)

-Still have a few hours in the day left so will post my end results later

i'm suprised if you will get any results with that ammount of pins in that kind of time.

So what exactly are you saying? I should increase the amount of images or lower it.

Usually going into that kind of frenzy has killed the domain, your pointing all your pins to single domain right? it will get spam flagged and it takes maybe month or 2 to get rid of it by letting it be alone for some time.
Handful along day has been proven to be somewhat good ammount.

As i said in my original post all im doing is building an audience. Im not linking any pictures to anything and won't be for some time. Once i have a good quality account that can provide traffic i will then begin to monetize it.

Well im done for today. Will pick it up tomorrow.

Followers - 14
Following - 105
Boards - 8

Its a start, hope to get a lot more tomorrow.

Building an follower audience is not needed, i'v made some viral pinnings with 1 account with 12 followers, you just need to submit right content at right time and you will receive ~1k traffic from single picture.

How are u going to monetize? I'm pretty new to pinterest. I just know that some people use pinterest for traffic..

As you say there isn't really a need to build a following but when the time comes to monetize the site i won't have to rely on luck that one of my images will go viral. With a good amount of followers i can guarantee a decent amount of traffic.

I have not looked into ways to monetize right now, once i do ill be sure to let you know.

-Didn't get to much done today as i have been busy
-Gained 46 Followers bringing my total up to 60
-Currently following 200 People
-9 Boards
-1,314 Images

I'm also in two minds whether to point all the pins to a single domain.

-Currently following 450
-13 Boards
-2,004 Images

Ideally how many followers you need to make 1k traffic?

To be perfectly honest you don't need any followers. You could post one image and if its goes viral you can expect to see a lot of traffic until the image dies down but for that you require luck. By making an account with a good amount of followers you can guarantee anything you post is going to get attention from you're followers.
