Pinterest is Going to Get HUGE

I agree, except Pinterest was founded in 2008 so 4 years :p

I don't think the site launched until March 2010 according to Mashable/Wikipedia.
Apologies for being a pedantic nerd. :D

Facebook is so bad that they won't even delete pages silly kids make making fun of stillborn babies.

Who the hell makes jokes about stillborn babies in bars? That's just sick.

I agree with you. Silly kids are not the ones that usually make those kind of jokes though. The reality is (from my personal experiences being a constultant and working in different offices over the years) that WOMEN are the ones that usually make those jokes. I know, right?!? I still do not understand or fathom the reason of it.

Don't mean to thread jack, but I know a guy on the founding team, and here is an article that may be interesting http://venturebeat.com/2012/02/20/when-was-pinterest-founded/

*Correction it began operating as a company in 2009, but there was the initial user base in 2008 according to one of the founders.

We agree, we just have different definitions of "launch." For me, it's the public launch. As quoted in that article, "...but didn't launch to the public right away. When it did launch in March of 2010..."

But let me shut up about that. You know a founder? Cool! Do you have any inside info on how they've launched some undocumented rate limits in the past month? I've noticed lots of changes.

They have/had a founding team, and the guy I know was one of the.. lets say he was one of the top 3 (so he wasn't the main guy). I don't have any up to date info but I know for a fact they had a whole anti-spam game plan set up early Feb that they are implementing step by step, and anti-spam is one of their top priorities along with the whole copyright issue. I know its vague but expect more limits to come :/
