I think sometimes it organically happens, make sure you're uploading a fair share of pins a day (25-50) to relevant boards / group boards.
 
Check the basic but important things such as your content. Consider this:
  • Share DIY tutorials: Give away quality content in the form of bite-sized, easily digestible information.
  • Spread inspirational ideas: If you are an interior design firm, post eye-catching images that share decor ideas, and if you are a business consultancy, post images with motivational quotes for entrepreneurs.
  • Pin infographics: Pin infographics on your board and interact with followers regularly with your content.

The name of the game in pretty simple with pinterest and that is fresh and unique pins.

Gather a few hundred images in your niche, save them in a folder on your PC and start learning your favorite video editing tool and learn how to create amalgamations of the images with edited effects with your keyword in the image, then post 30-50 a day. Very simple.

Also like said above the analytics can go up and down wildly but you gotta look that you are on a general upswing rather than a day by day thing. But do what I said above and that is what will give you continual growth. I am still a beginner myself but I had to change a lot of things since their June update and that is what has helped me the most. Just doing what they advise on their blog and other related pinterest news outlets.

Posting regularly is the main factor and posting unique content, pinterest is all about the unique pins.
