Where did you get this kind of information?
I did way more than 5 and can't imagine there is a limit for accepting invitations.

Yes its true, altough you can accept more without getting banned its a trigger for the anti spam system, if you trigger another one your account gets ghosted or banned.

Where did you hear this information?
I have accepted way more than 5 invited in one day!!

if your account is old. you can accept but for your security it is better to accept 2-3 boards than wait 2-3 hours than add more
