    Hello guys,

    Since the last update of Pinterest I am having some problems with my accounts.I used to create a new accounts and invite them to big group boards.When I start pinning I realized that my pins are not showing on my feed.Also the group board followers don't see the pin it doesn't go to their feed,but it is on the board.So if you want to see it you should go into the board.
    I decided to find old accounts,older then 6 months and to try with the.All of them have followers,4-5 boards with like 150 pins.Then I invited them to the same group boards and I saw the same result.The pin doesn't show on the account feed and also on the followers feed.When I pin to my board then It shows up on my feed and on my followers feed.
    For every account I use different IP.Does anyone knows what is going on?Does anyone has the same problem like mine?Any suggestions how to get over this?

    So the group board has been ghosted? Do you use the same IP's on each account every time?

    Yes I used different IP for each account.I have acoounts which are 1 year old and even they are ghosted.Today I got 5 different accounts and all of them work with the same boards,so the problem is now with the boards.

    @Zakhar
    Yes they are changing something everyday and ban a lot.I used to pin manually too and got banned on my 30 pins.What the f*** is going on....

    That's interesting I noticed something with a shared board I was on too. None of my accounts have been ghosted, but I can no longer pin to that shared board. I get "Whoops! Board not found" error message when trying to pin or repin to it, although I can still access and view the board through my profile boards page. The repin view has changed on one of my accounts as well. I think they are testing several new things to roll out in bulk, now is a good time to scale back and let some things settle...

    I have studied this a lot and came to conclusion that the reason for all this less exposure is the new pinterest feature CAlled recommendation ... In which pinterest shows you pins and pinners that are according to your taste, it suggests you these things using your history which category you usually like, which pins you usually repin and things like that..

    Me being board owner getting way less repins then group board pinners, which means this also has effect for similar country or something like that, so i will now make a US pinterest profile and see if there is some change

    Yes some of my accounts are with different look for repin and pin.But That is not the main problem.If one account is aged 2weeks or more it goes to the boards followers feed.I am not able to understand why one account which is 1 year old is not showing on the followers feed?I have no idea what are they changing,but I think they have to stop.
    @xpesos
    I don't think so.If you do that with new accounts it could happen.I use old accounts which are 1 year old and some of them are showing on the feed and other's don't.So I think they are working on something,but can't get it and I don't understand anything now.One account is working fine,but other don't.

    I'm looking into this issue. I am pretty sure that there is a combination of a lot of things causing ghosting:

    - overpinning (i.e. pinning over and over all day long)
    - getting flagged
    - same URL as source link over and over

    The great thing is that if you have a lot of followers then at least they will see your pins.

    The best solution for the time being is to be as normal as possible with each account:

    - only use Pinterest one or twice a day
    - skip days
    - only use for 15 min to 120 min per day
    - always mix in other people's pins, not just yours
    - don't pin anything that will get flagged (copyright, spam, url shortneres, etc)

    Hope this helps! Will be in touch with more info after some more testing..

    Any update on Pinterest ghosting? My biggest account is being ghosted even on my own group boards. Luckily, followers of my non-group boards can still see my pins on their home feed. I'll stop activities on this account for a few days, maybe a couple of weeks, and see if recover. Sucks though, this account is a member of over 200 group boards, many of which have active repinners.

    think inviting a new account to join a group board using a ghosted account, will ghost that new account to. all my accounts have been ghosted so i cant do the test.

    if some one can invite a fresh account to join a new group board using a "legal" account to confirm my theory it will be perfect

    Well I am using 15 accounts at this time. Each account is almost 1 month old. I am not getting any problem regarding "Ghosting". The best way to use pinterest accounts are mentioned above by "Tensegrity" and I believe if you you follow it correctly then your accounts will not be ghosted.

    I am not seeing problems with groups boards but it is getting a lot harder to get pins viral. It seems pinterest have updated their image algo and will only allow the same images to be indexed every 30 days not the old 7 ish.

    I agree with the posting methods above but also try and connect some kind of social to the accounts, verified website and business accounts also do better.
