Pinterest followback ratio is this normal?

I've recently seen so many so called gurus raving about Pinterest. So I followed 1.9k (using massplanner thankfully) and I've only got 125 followers I think about 50 or 60 were from when I was following may be 200 people. That seems terrible to me is it normal?

it seems quite low, I get 1 follower for every 10 pinners I follow.

Wow, care to share your niche? Mine is also pretty low considering the amount of people I follow.

Thread posted in the wrong section. Still 10 to 15 Percent follow back is what you can expect on pinterest. Girly stuff performs usually better

With recent changes to Pinterest I am not sure you really should bother with follow/unfollow anymore, tho
