Pinterest Demographics

Are teens using pinterest? The only demographic I come across are older women with more than 40k income. Have any of you been successful with converting teens on pinterest or know someone who have? What percentage of pinterest traffic do you think is teens?

I know a load of geeky teens both men and women are rocking Pinterest. There are so many untapped niche in this area. Plus you have to consider teens today will be buyers in a few years. (Long Term)

Yeah, honestly I don't think any teens or young adults use it. Can prob sell the crap out of baby products or home decor, etc...

lol...shocked at 20% male figure...I don't know one guy that uses Pinterest...not one.

I experimented with it for a while about 12-18 months ago but it doesn't work well for my needs and doesn't convert.

Definitely aimed at Women but can work with the right products.

I should have said I don't know any men that use it that are not IMers lol - I mean I don't know any guys that use it for its intended use haha

Depends. I have a lot of men repinning cars, girls, and men's fashion. Don't try to push a baby product to a group of men. Fish where the fish are.

I can proudly say I'm one of the few men who use Pinterest for fun (got in at beta in fact) but my pinsare filled with guys stuff.

Errr... I think these stats are a bit old... The pinterest app on GooglePlay has around 10,000,000+ downloads now... I just downloaded it it some days ago..

Yeah my niche is completely untapped with pintrest and the higher income of pintrest users is a big plus
