I've been using Pinterest actively for the past month or so. One of the things I've been doing is using Pinterest to drive traffic to my website. I named my board using my keyword and used an image and URL from my website. When I did a google search for my keyword term today, the link to my board came up on page 2! My website is on page 1, but it's surprising that the board itself ranks so high after such a short time and with no work other than putting pins on the board and watching others re-pin.

Anyone else finding similar results for their boards in the SERPs? (Assuming you used keywords in your board names)

I've been doing Pinterest gigs on fiverr and MCJ that offer this SEO service for pinterest. I'm starting to see them show up on page 1....It's a low keyword, but here is one example I did a week or so ago....the guy is selling "apple cider hair rinse"

And my board put him on page one

what exactly are you doing?
just having them repined?

I'm just putting up new pins 2-3 times a day. I don't repin my own pins, but users do.

yea i been seen my boards in serps, when I first started out with pinterest, I had only 1 board with 20k+ pins from re-pinning random pins..

searched my keyword in google, and there it was 2nd page..

also, your account name plays a part too...

Hint: try changing your username as your keyword

Didn't think of that executer....dang....forgot about account name

don't worry pinterest will let you change your user name easily.. also your about/description should have your keyword in it too..

You can build backlinks on your boards and rank them...nice idea lol
