Hi guys and girls i'm totally new to pinterest but love the concept, looking at youtube there was a guy who had a wordpress plugin that would allow you to automate importing Amazon products into pinterest, Further investigation i read the Pinterest was now blocking the affiliate user code stripping the username out of the url. I was just wondering is there a way around this manual or automated way ? I have looked for possible answers but not really come up with any answers.

They have been filtering affiliate links even from url shorteners for while. One way is to put product pages with affiliate links on your sites anywhere else and post link to them to pinterest.

You could Iframe with a block on Amazon Bot. I would have text on the top of the page then on the bottom of the fold have my affiliate offers. I would also have a pop up (newsletter or special) that covers up the affiliate link visually. (of course you when you hit the x you would see the products) This on the odd chance someone manually checks it looks a little better.

The best way is to setup a auto amazon store, then post the images of products to pinterest instead directly linking to amazon

Yes there is a way around it but no one will give away that information here especially if banking big with the method. As people have said setup a landing page for your affiliate offers.

But you can always clock the links through wordpress plugins which are free to use.

Okay so Pinterest catches redirection, thats for sure. How about iframing, does this work, is it legal in the eyes of Pinterest. Also can you put Iframe and adsense in one page? Is it legal?

Sorry for jacking you thread OP, but I think answers to those questions would help us both, because I do Pinterest too
