Pinterest + Amazon doesn't work?

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone was actually successful by combining Amazon&Pinterest. I haven't seen any threads where someone has made $50 a day from this method... in fact of all the journeys that I've read, only Healzer's thread has indicated any level of success. As for myself, I was only able to make $5 in total from Amazon+Pinterest method...

What do you guys think? Does pinterest and amazon have bad synergy ? Or is Pinterest + adsense just a much better method...

Pinterest's audience is perfect for Amazon. I just think you need to scale your operation and/or promote better products. I've had some of my articles spread around Pinterest without me knowing and they seem to convert fairly well when you promote the right product(s).

I know of a few people who are doing well with it, but I've tried Pinterest + Amazon and have failed. You really need the right niche, and need to know how to target your audience properly. Probably focus on group boards.

I don't focus on group boards, rather I will focus on a niche and grow my following until I get lots of traffic. For what I do, group boards are too risky and will get my accounts banned. My niches work well with adsense, and I make good money that way.

You need to pick the right product to promote on pinterest and avoid the following things to gain success

* Don't create different niche boards on single account, just create relevant niche boards
* Don't repin much random shits, review the repins manually before posting
* Don't change the original pin links on all repins, change only in few repins and try to give your link on description on few pins.
* Don't upload the pins without watermark when those are grabbed from somewhere else.
* Don't waste time by focusing on group boards.

I bought the pinbot too and followed heazler's guide with a very nice site and had no luck. Barely made 20 bucks last month.

Thats because heazler was trying to sell a bot for you guys and he needed a way to convince you guys to buy the bot.

I know this post is a couple of months old and OP probably stopped monitoring it. But I'm curious if he or others started an Amazon+Pinterest campaign. And how's it going? With click-happy mostly female audience in the right demo (ages 18-49), I'm thinking that Amazon and Pinterest is a good match.
