Hi everyone, I run a clothing ecom store and I’ve been thinking about trying Pinterest ads. Never used the platform before. but I keep seeing fashion brands advertising on it so I guess its working well. Has anyone here tested it? Also curious what kind of creatives work best. Just trying to understand if it’s worth testing. Would appreciate any experiences. Thanks.

Pinterest can work well for fashion since it’s very visual. Good images and lifestyle style creatives usually perform better there.

Testing ads on Pinterest can work well for clothing eCommerce, especially when you use lifestyle focused visuals, short video pins, and strong keyword targeting, since users often browse with buying intent and fashion content performs well for long-term conversions.

Explore whether clothing stores actually get profitable conversions from Pinterest ads or if it’s mainly branding exposure, and what real sellers are seeing in terms of sales vs clicks.

Pinterest traffic has massive purchasing intent for fashion, but the conversion window is notoriously long since users are mainly mood-boarding. Standard catalog product shots will completely flop. You absolutely need to run high-quality, aesthetic lifestyle imagery or natural-looking UGC video pins to actually capture that demographic's attention.

what kind of fashion brands have you seen advertising on pinterest that makes you think it's working well for them?

Ads can work well for eCommerce fashion brands when you use lifestyle-focused creatives, clear product visuals, and keyword-targeted campaigns that match user search intent.

The fashion niche is big in Pinterest because most of the users there are females. Therefore I believe that if you put ads for your ECOM store there you're going to have a lot of sales as long as you keep your content quality and visuals at good enough level.

Ads can work very well for clothing eCommerce brands, especially when using clean lifestyle creatives, strong product visuals, and search-focused targeting that blends naturally with organic content.
