No your have to learn backlinking and beat the amount of links the competion got .

That's right. I am going to build more links than him. But his web 2.0 links have only trackback links which are indexed too. So even I wanted to follow the same.
GSA has pingback links which allows anchor text?

Not sure if you can set anchor text. Pretty sure you can.
I wouldn't bother with pingbacks honestly they're very spammy and have little value.
