Pingback Accept or Reject?

I'm getting pingbacks for my whitehat wordpress sites. I think I should reject them because those sites are still linking to me whether I accept or reject, and it's another external link that I don't want visitors to click.

Any definitive answers?

I saw this thread but it wasn't helpful at all.

I have a few white hat sites and sometimes I accept some of the ping backs... (if they come from a reputable website)

I am also getting lots of pingbacks links each day. After analysis last some months I found these links are not useful for me and Now, I deleted all pingbacks and comment from database.

I don't think there is any harm accepting pingbacks... The websites which are linking to your must be trying to ping their backlinks for fast indexing.

If you don't rely on these backlinks, make them nofollow.

Ok, I have one more newbie question, how do you determine if pingbacks are from a reputable site? Is there a fast way to tell PR/backlinks of a particular URL? Pingback links are UGC, which are nofollow by default in WP, so think I'm good there.
