Long time lurker... decided to register so I could reply to a post today. I work for a company that sells software for real-time online lead validation and distribution - a.k.a. a "ping tree" or "host and post" system.

I don't intend to be a jerk and try to pitch my company's stuff at every turn. It is actually very helpful to me to see what other people are doing and what kinds of questions other people have as it relates to lead generation. Hopefully I can add some value from time to time and likewise if I have questions I can get answers.

In basic terms, a Ping Tree is a system that takes a lead that is generated and allows lead buyers (could be retail, could be wholesale buyers) to buy those leads real time. We use a ping tree that allows buyers to bid on the leads real time. Highest bidder, or most credit worthy buyer takes the lead. They are shown small tid bits of the data in order to make their decision. For example a payday loan lead. The potential buyer may be able to see income, credit score ect.
