Hello, I'm a newbie and very interested in different seo techniques.

Recently I've published a niche site and build some links using senuke.

    Actually I have tow questions:
1- How much time will take to get the links indexed by Google normally?
2- I heard that ping the links is important to get them indexed fast, I saw some services to get this done, like indexification; so nowadays is this method still exist or it's gone?

Your answer is much appreciated : )

Pinging links still works and many people still do it. Here is why I don't:

    1. If you ping all of your links, then G will notice all of your links on the same day. This won't look natural if suddenly your site goes from having 0 links to having 500.

    2. Modern black-hat SEO strategy involves multiple tiers with T1 pointing to money site, then lower quality T2 links pointing to T1, and even lower quality T3 links pointing to the T2 links. Your T1 links should be picked up by G pretty fast if you have a lot of T2s.

Good luck with your new niche site.

    Hey mate, welcome to BHW.
Be careful with SE Nuke. Make sure you build some high quality links, too and be sure to vary your anchor text.
    1. Pretty open question - normally in a week or so, could be quicker, could take longer. Use social signals and high pr links to help indexing. Also, services like instantlinkindexer, lindexed, linklicious and indexification are all good - although letting google find them naturally is also a plus, providing the links you build aren;t really deep.
    2. I cant give a definite answer, but my opinion is that pinging is all but obsolete now. Google will find your links on their own accord. That said, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it and see.

    Hope that helps :)

I suggest you to do link building and also use pinging service in drip feed way. So this way will look as natural at Google.

Don't ping thousands of links instantly... It is not good.

Hello, thank you for your reply :)
Actually I built a few links that point to my website, just to discover if that works. in addition I use web 2.0 on T1 as well.
    Thanks for your help!

Hi james, thanks for your advice, yes I'm using SEnuke carefully, I tried another ping services that gives me a limited links to ping for free, like pinglerand linkcentaur, I test pinging and yes, that works. now I'm going to build more links and use one of premium services you mentioned.
    Thanks for your help!

That's right I will do that, thanks for your help guys.

    Pinging still works, certainly.

Personally, I prefer a broad base of low-quality links on the bottom of my structures. I dont even ping these, and no, google does not find most of them - but it certainly "Leads the spider" to the stuff I do want found.

Trackbacks, blog comments, etc, are a good idea of the sort of links I'm talking about.

Ping your T3, T4 links. Let G discover T2 and T1 by itself.

yes, pinging still works, and yes my Indexification service utilizes it as you mentioned in your first post, however it doesn't bring the results it used to bring in the past and it is always better to use it in conjuction with other methods like my and most other indexing services do

For a free solution it is still worth it and if it doesn't eat you too much time and efforts you can be doing it and it will bring in some results

Yes, I try to ping some of my important ones. The best thing to do is to social bookmark them than just pings.RSS submission also work as good as pinging, highly effective.
