you mean pinging your links on sites like pingomatic, or what exactly do you mean?? If that's what you mean, then no, they don't work anymore. I mean, pinging was mainly used to bring the googlebot to your pages so that the googlebot can discover your links, but indexing them is a different story and it depends entirely on google's algorithms, not on the pinging platforms

But they still give out pinglist for 2021 etc so whats the point?

I have been using backlinkbooster.com which is a ping service. It seems to work as I have traffic to articles that I dont promote. I dont know if this helps and I dont know if there is a way to test their service other than looking at traffic

Ping submission is a scam. It works just like CPA where it shows you progress due to code but not due to any underlying process.

I tested ping services using ScrapeBox and got 20% indexing rate. (Using ScrapeBox default list.)
That said, all “ping type” indexers yield aproximately 0%.
