Hey guys.

I have an interesting question, proxy wise, which matters more to you? Low latency or High speed?

Low Latency = 5 ~ 20MS

High Speed = 1.2Gbps

Let me know which is more important, and why.

depends on what you want to achieve.
if you are making a lot of small requests with bots, latency is more important as the tasks will be more responsive.
If you are using it to download huge files then obviously high speed is preferable.

Thanks this makes sense. If you regularly use proxies, which do you see yourself preferring most of the time.

some people get proxies for bidding things like shoes or trading.... you want low latency for those... but for general use, fat pipes!

Would you say more people want big pipes over those that want latency?

Agree on this one. Low latency is needed when botting.

I would say big pipes for general use, I use link building bots and traffic bots, so there's no need for low latency, unless jobs keeps timing out

if a provider is offering low latency it's usually a niche service for certain sites ok...

are you looking to start a proxy BST?

Well connectivity wise, I am realizing low latency is requested for specific websites, but other than that, everyone wants large pipes.

Just trying to understand what way I should lean, as in which way the market leans. It's a very interesting discussion as everyone has different needs.
