if you get "normal" thai ppl, and not ppl who look at you like an ATM, then yeah, 2000b/day is a lot of money

i lived in BKK for almost 4 years, and had a driver on a 24/7 call for 10k/month with a brand new Toyota, and a pretty hot 22yo maid (from hua hin area and not issan) for 7k/month, which did daily cleaning, cooking laundry etc

so on a daily basis both of them cost less then 600b to hire, so 1400 still left, 800 for a uni girl that wants some extra money to go out and willing to do "nice things" and 600 for a normal merchandise tour guide that works with locals

none of the soi cowboy girls and Suk soi 1-30 tour guides

The beautiful thing about forums is that nobody is forcing you to participate in a discussion/topic that doesn't appeal to you.

While I agree that this may now be better suited to the lounge who precisely are you to dictate what topics should and shouldn't be discussed on this forum?

Finally, there is a post 3 spots before yours from someone who has found the discussion of the price of help in Thailand to be both helpful and motivating so perhaps that will answer the question of who on the forum this is helpful to.

What a great idea. I would go about it a different way than trusting a newer member of BH, but the concept is good. I would do my homework; you can trust no one. Better make sure the person shows up, and make sure you have a plan B in case things go sour.

Be careful throwing around terms like misogynist, I don't hate women - quite the opposite in fact.

Personally, what I hate are arrogant self-appointed forum policemen. Surely you'd be better off flagging posts on CL for being in the wrong category where I'm sure you'll find a group of like minds.
