Okay...so I am testing different niches to see which is for me by trying different keywords. I have read in many places that its best to pick a keyword with 500 to 10,000 results. This is very difficult to find...the products all seem to show pretty good results in the search engines. ugh. I am stuck!

LOL That's the part when you step in as an individual.
How are you choosing your keywords?
I personally wouldn't even bother with 500-1000 area, unless it's a very targeted buyer keyword & you get a really good chunk per sale.

Don't just follow the guides man, they are generic. Choose a keyword that you think people are willing to open their wallet with a reasonable competitive level and you will make money. For example: "how to know your partner is cheating on you" (lol).

Hi Rockamore, its very hard to find a good money keywords in clickbank. I wouldn't say its saturated but its tough. Just concentrate on the long tail one as well as check the competition in phrases as well as Intitle.

To make it simple:
- Pick a keyword having search of minimum 5000 per month (exact) + Competing page of less than '300000'. Blv me its not tough and there are many
- Also when you search for that keyword, ensure that many adwords ad are there in the search result. This will double check if the keywords are profitable. Affiliate are displaying their ad becoz they r making money out of that keywords
- When you pick the product, make sure the gravity is 80-90+ and %ref is minimum 50%. Also have a check on commission amount... prefer to pick product with $25+ pay

Foreign Exchange Investment Niche sells very well. I've seen many successfull affiliate making money easily for this niche.

Go for evergreen niches such Relationships, Green Energy and Weight Loss.

The green energy niche has become extremely saturated these days. I remember two years ago it was so easy to get sales, with very little effort. Now good keyword are so hard to come by.

You have to find a product that converts. Find a niche that people will buy and make sure the sales-page is top-notch.

searching is the first step...action is the 2nd one...experiment..rinse repeat scale i think that's how u will succede

The chance of you profiting by choosing a competitive niche like health or weight loss is extremely slim, espeically considering you are new to the game.

You need to think outside the box here and pick something that not everyone else is doing.

All you really need is the google keyword tool.

When you are first starting out look for keywords with 3000 to 10000 searches and no more than 50000 phrase match competition.

For example, when you type the keyword into google with quotes around it like "keyword", and it says that there are 20000 to 50000 search results for it but not more, then you are good to go.

If the keyword has only like 2k searches and has 50000 phrase match competition, it might not be ideal. There should be a good balance between searches and competition, you don't want to waste your time on things that are not worth it, because there are tons of better markets out there.

Ideal is 5000+ searches and less than 30000 phrase match competition, but this is tough to find. Also, you need to keep in mind that keywords need to be targetted.

Having a keyword like "i like flying kites" is not very targetted, a keyword like "i want to buy phones online now" is very targeted. Of course, these are two extremes.

Good luck.
