I was browsing auctions and came across [city]lawncare.com.

Placed a bid and got it cheap. I want to play with it and learn some seo but want to know..other than possibly selling leads, is there anything else I can do with it?

Thanks for any input!

You could start a local lawncare business :)

Seriously though, I would always advise having an idea of what you will use an asset, like a domain, for before buying it. I'm not in any similar market to this so don't know what would be a good programme to run but maybe lead gen could be an option.

An easy option to monetise decent domains, providing their stats are at least good on the surface, would be to setup a blog with some semi regular posts and then sell links on the popular marketplaces like icopify and Adsy.

Thanks for the input!

I have a ton of domains that aren't in any specific niche so when I saw this domain going cheap if figured...why not?

The population is rather small..around 20k. But still saw it might could be an opportunity and other than starting a lawn care business, selling leads was my only thought.

But who knows, may just let it go as it might not be worth the time.

nice grab! following this thread cuz i've been looking at local service domains too, but I wasn’t sure how to use them beyond lead gen. Curious what others think, maybe a local directory or some affiliate angle could work?
