Hi everyone, I want to make my new forum, which software that better, secure, and more SEO friendly? phpBB or myBB or SMF? how about Joomla with forum extension (something like Kunena) is it good too?

Can't comment on Joomla, but phpBB is a holey piece of shit and myBB is one of the most spammed forums on the planet (mostly by me hehe).

Just so you know, OP, there are plenty of other great options apart from phpBB and myBB. :)

    Example: http://vanillaforums.org/

I've used phpbb in the past and it seems to do fairly well with SEO. However, after a few months it was just bombarded with spam everyday, and nothing I did really stopped it. I even tried using recaptch for registration. Frankly I would stay away unless you really know how to use it. As far as joomla I have used Kunena. However I found the interface to be not all that great. I like the forum to be in on it's own page not imbedded in a webpage, it is pretty easy to setup though. Honestly, It think vbullitin is the way to go.

If i were to choose from only those two options, i'd go for phpBB :)

But, remember there are other options too :D

My spam software deals only with phpbb. Could you therefore please use it :)

Joomla is absolutely bull$hit. I had it for a while, together with a forum extension (do not remember, fireforum or so, long time ago). Forget.

^^ I had the same problem the only downside to Vbullitin is you have to pay for it and sometimes it hard to code if you want to modify the forum alot, but it is the best choice I have seen forum wise. SMF seems to be used ALOT for profile backlinks so I would discourage that as well.

Hmm like others mentioned above, I find vbulletins are good, SMF I strongly recommend, phpBB is good as well, also can try out IP.Board ^^ of course there are many others.. Just try and test each one out!
