I already played with forum AI based on Alice bot and it was working great but you need to "teach" it by giving it a lot of predefined replies.

It was working with AIML

Me neither. It was a good idea.

I think it wouldn't be too hard to write software to do it though.
Search Yahoo Answers, parse question. parse answers. Integrate with captcha service. Integrate with spinner service. Post back to phpbb or whatever other forums you want to support.

I think the hardest thing would actually be posting to the forum. Not scraping yahoo answers.

There's a real need for auto forums. Not much out there that works.

I guess, nothing can still beat a thinking forum poster. A good virtual assistant that can do forum posting, and can create personas is better.
