I am making an attempt at my first video blog site, was excited to try out this PHP MVB plugin but I am getting errors. :( Anyone know what I am to do?

Since I recommended this plug I thought I jump in.

There are some servers out there that have very tight security settings.

Do you have another hosting account to test this?

No I don't. :(

But my site host is a good friend of mine, never have any problems with the hosting except encountering memory usage limits once but that was fixed in all of 5 seconds by the host. I can ask them if this has anything to do with them and see if they can fix it.

You are using nulled version or bought it?

My advice - i tested nulled version of MVB, than bought it.

Software is really worth it, because you will get support, it is for unlimited domains and you get updates. Mixing MVB with some other autoblogging stuff will bring you really good results.

Pay that 23 bucks and use it, try to use coupon code "ifound" (there is a surprise link in their homepage with this _secret_ coupon code) and it will cost you cheaper.

Yeah, make sure that you check your domain's ' php.ini ' report and see if your hosting provider allows ' ffmpeg ' allowance. If not, this plugin will not work for you.

You can check it by checking yourdomain.com/php.ini, which is normally kept on shared hosting in the cgi or .htaccess file directories on hosting service providers. This is also a good practice to protect your site from security loopholes by protecting this file, not giving access through any links in your navigation to it. People can hunt for it and scalp your site with the information they can gain from it.

Some hosting services go as far as to put the server access path in these things. Being this is a blackhat site, I figured it best to warn you, as some here are a little less than humanitarian in their practices...heh. Ask your hosting company's tech support where they keep the php.ini file in the admin file manager and protect it if the company doesn't have it so already.

Hey, I searched around via FTP looking for a file titled, "php.ini" with no luck. I can't seem to find any .ini extension files at all, which is strange because I swear I remember seeing/editing some at some point. KingOfPorn, I agree on shelling out the $23 for the theme's help support. I am not a cheap-skate I just literally don't have it in my budget atm. (I know, it's sad. :o) I'll probably pick it up when I do..

I don't have any master plans on making millions off my efforts anyway at this point, thanks for all of the informative feedback guys.

Also thanks for the coupon code KoP. :)

Your friend probably deleted it to protect your account. You can ask him if that 'ffmpeg ' is installed none the less, as it is a requirement of that plugin. I know that for a fact, as I had to plug it in to my servers for that very reason. It is a free download and add-in but has to be added via server admin.

Get your friend to add it for you and your problem should resolve, unless there is an issue with the script itself, naturally.

Best of luck with it, whatever you do.

Thank you kindly sir, you've been very helpful. I sent an IM but he's either AFK or temporarily ignoring me (I both him a lot, LOL.) Nonetheless, I can submit a ticket about this and get a timely response.

Most of my installs run on VPS but I checked if I have it somewhere on a shared account.

I can confirm that the latest version 2.8.2. runs without any problems on Hostgator.

Right, VPS has the ' ffmpeg ' feature already installed on hostgator, as part of their standard features. Again, Tseng will have to have it added due to the case that most general/basic accounts don't allow for that, due to capping/non-streaming restrictions.

That is why it works for you with no problem. The features of a VPS with hostgator allows streaming on their servers for dedicated and private package upgrades.

@ Tseng - try to find another copy of the plugin and see what you can do from there, just to eliminate the issue of a bad copy, as well as your server account having the ffmpeg installed as well. That will take out two problem points and help you to get closer, if not correcting the issue all together.

Are you running as a VPS account or general hosted account on your friend's machine?

Thanks again for all the help shock, blackhit, and KoP. I got the problem fully resolved now and am super happy. (Thanks to my badass super host support.) Made2own for fucking life!

There is no need of ffmpeg for this plugin to work. there is one more way out. If you have got this script from some ddl site then you can just delete the line written at line no 192 in mvb_main.php. this is a decoded line which connects to some third party site.

Hope it will help some one

Anyone have the latest version of this plugin?

Bought last week and have yet to receive any email or reply. Willing to buy it if you send me a copy, cause that developer is a pos.
