So if you need to learn there is no point in finding forums.just search for some good tutorials in youtube.

And if you can download nearly 20 GB search for this tutorial set PhotoShop Top Secret FULL 5 DVD Set

I also got many tricks and easy ways from following that DVD set.And there are few good channels in YT also PSDbox,PHlearn,Retutpro - Photography & Retouching

    Type in Google:
    photoshop forums

The top ones are generally very good centers to learn photoshop and be among the pros. Then, Youtube can teach you a lot of great techniques. I learned many using just YT. :)

Then, Google can present any kind of help on any PS related topics on search. Type something like:
    photoshop CC techniques
    photoshop CS6 how to

You can also use the videos or the images sub-menu (under the Google search box), and find a lot of interesting things more suited to what you're seeking at the moment.

That is a strange question . . . It is like saying, "What is the minimum
amount of lessons I need before I can start making money as a guitarist?"

As with all art, you become good at it because you have a passion for it.
If money is your primary motive, you won't do as well as someone who
loves doing it for the pure joy of it. I mean, sure . . . you can learn the
process, but in my opinion, you are "putting the cart before the horse."

If you know people who need PS paid services, then you need not even learn it. Just get the job done from a third party expert, and profit thorugh your marketing skills. If you want to earn even if you don't went to learn marketing, then you can do a JV. If you don't want to learn the basics of JV, then too yo can earn well, but for that you'll need a lot of luck. Now if you want to earn without any luck or putting in any efforts, then too I would tell you how that can easily be done, but then why should you trust me? :)

Even the eaglets learn to fly tiny distances first, and when they are fully capable they reach the heaven every time they take a swing from the trees! An untrained eaglet will reach the real heaven just like that(!) too, but there is a huge difference. Get proper training... :)

Personally, I learn more from doing, rather than actually watching Youtube videos. One good way of learning is to offer some free work for now, find out what the person wants, and then play around in Photoshop til you get it right.

Whatever works best for you dude.

There are people earning more per day even with some basic knowledge, and there are also people who earn nothing while they are top experts. How can anyone tell you how much you can earn per day? You have to find that out yourself. Your expertise is of no use if you don't find jobs related to it...

    Hope that settles the issue.

    P.S.:
In my case, I think I know PS CC suffieciently enough to begin earning (in that field) using my level of skills, but I don't use my "skills" that way, so I earn nothing actually! It gives me lot of pleasure though (while doing very little freelance Photoshoping), and the love for PS also keeps me an eternal PS knowledge-seeker. I also know somebody who I think isn't upto my level (wherever I am) of PS "expertise", but he earns a lot using his skills, and I love seeing him make use of his skills for fulfilling his family's daily needs.

He started with the same fear (if he can earn using PS skills), but he personally made efforts to not just find work but also to ovecome his fear. He struggled initially, but he got those jobs eventually and now is considered a pro by people who know him and also by those who give him the jobs.

So, break those mental barriers as fast as you can...

Thank for that inspirational story mr. srb888 :) Im no expert nor novice in PS CC im like zero knowledge in it, i just have a thought of learning because it is in my pc so why not learn and make a living hopefully out of it like someone you know. I started watching PHLEARN'S Videos, im getting it bit by bit but i get lost sometimes in the jargons, and his videos are about photo retouching and for fashion purposes. There is so much you can do in PS CC right? not just retouching photos to earn? :)

You must have heard this: Jack of all, master of none! Money comes to the masters. So try to master a few topics, and find those topics that could make you money easily. Then go make a career out of it.

Try focusing on topics that can earn you money (and fame). Like commercial designs, advertisements, products, lighting, and make some before|after images so that you have a good pro-looking portfolio to show. Of course try other things too, and YT etc platforms are full of those techniques. Free too!

I am doing PS CC now, and it has opened new amazing avenues for me! I never thought that so much could be achieved and so easily... But for a newbie, I would like to stress the importance of visualization. When you see a commercial on a TV for example, your mind automatically picks up some of the great images that flash by. Your artistic part of the mind notices how some components are used to highlight something in the main product's background, you get interested in them, and then you begin learning how to create those things may be in PS. Such minor details make your designs look better and pro-quality. The backlighting, fill lighting, flash lighting, other such forms of light and shade playing across the image makes it look quite different than a bland flat image of the same product. Then you think of the different colors used, and also think how creatively those colors are used, and why they are used there... then, the way the product is displayed, how the words are used, audio, the motion... how the camera leads you to th subect and how long it keeps you there before moving to the next selling point... so, there are so many things going on there. But your mind picks up one aspect -- eg. the light used or the colors, in almost a second, and then you hold the image while you try to reproduce it in PS... Getting my point? You become a pro by putting yourself fully into it, and then create a great:) work of art. Then you try more things in your own unique way. This way you begin to build a good grraphical portfolio.

Now you're doubting your ability because you aren't trying those kind of visualizations and improvisations. But when you earn say $15-20 per hour, or even $50~75 per hour, and when you will have lots of projects, you'll laugh then! But you need to practice and become different from the others.

Have you got an eye for photgraphy? Can yo visualize depths and perspectives? Can you visualize a simple product in different lights and shades, and in differrent colors and environments? Can you mind see those normal things differently? Can you just hold any item and build an advertisement campaign, however crudely at this stage, in your mind and hold it there so that you can try PS o it? Of course you'll need to visualize, and then those ads in TV will come handy. Those are the add-ons that you will use initially in your designs. Make the simple item pop-up. These sample will help you get clients later.

What do you like more? Scenery? Portraits? Products? whatever? Look for any commercial spects and find if there are jobs being put up for those topics, and how much money is offered. Build different sets of portfolios if required and use them selectively.

Can you easily visualize? You can't develop those artistic capabilities if you are not made for it, but if there are traces and you use day-to-day examples that are being thrown at you round the clock as on TV, then you can really build up a career in graphics, PS-centric too. Learn the basics fast, and go advanced and specific minutely. Building a graphics-based career takes time and patience, and of course it takes the liking for the work which requires very hard work... at least initially?

If you do so, then $15 per day won't be so difficult task for you imo.

All this may look very abstract to you at thise stage. But you need to find yourself what path to take. Build some thing (you may have a collection of themes) and show that portfolio to an expert. You may be lot better guided towards your career then. At this point, we can only give you an abstract outline to help you though.

Have you created any such "artworks", so that someone whom you can trust either here on any other place can guide you a little better?

For example, look at this commercial(!?) on youtube... I wouldn't have paid 1 cent to the maker. But I also guess that the movie maker might also happen to be the son-in-law of the CEO. lol So the challenge is, can you take one or few stills from that video(?) and create a single frame PS advert (still-life ofc) out of it? There are plenty of attractive subjects in the video you can use, and you have that brand name shown at the end. Use a few other things for the background, use text creatively, and bring the ad to life the way you visualize!

Get some still-life ads done such way! Find some lousy ones, and recreate and make it real attractive in PS. Put the original link alongside! Don't be too critical and don't call the original lousy!:D I think those will be the best tourist attractions in your portfolio, and may be they will help you land some special jobs!

Thanks much Again Mr. srb888! :D Honestly, i didnt understand 50% of what you have said because the terms you are using is new to me, in fact some of your PS terms i just read them to your reply, but i do understand the "mind see" or the "visualization" part. I can visualize them, what needs to be done in image, well atleast in my taste. But i dont know if that is correct in the world of PS. I mean for example, this image that i have to edit and i have a picture in mind of what i want it to be when it is done. the problem is, i do not know if what i did is correct in the world of PS. So i think it will comes down to trying and practice. Maybe go to odesk or elance, check the jobs there and try if i can do the job but of course i will not apply, just on my own practice, and from there ill know what would be profitable skill i should learn. Im just glad to know that i can make 15 dollars a day, everyday if im knowledgable enough in PS CC :)

You can make your videos of live designed templates and themes in Photoshop. You can upload your tutorials on Youtube, dailymotion, vimeo and other project submission sites. It is the easy method to earn money online.

I think that would help, but there is guy on here in the forums that promises to tutor people for the basic. I'll try to look for the link and maybe post it here if hasn't been posted already, or the guy hasn't post a reply here.
